A word from the MD, Justin Hobday...

 With the first quarter almost behind us, we realise that the continued efforts of our clients to manage their occupational risks have kept us extremely busy...and so it should be.

NEW NOSA OFFICES BRING SERVICES CLOSER TO CLIENTS
We are pleased to report that our new offices in Newcastle, East London and Witbank, have shown extremely encouraging support from our clients. Thank you very much. The continued demand for NOSA products and services has necessitated the extension of our training facilities in Nelspruit, Port Elizabeth, Secunda, Vanderbijlpark and Centurion. As a result, we now offer public training at 35 training centres across our Southern African footprint, and have a permanent staff complement of 180.

NOSA SALES TEAM AWAITING NEW BRANDED FLEET
In 2006 we launched the NOSA sales team, with a fleet of branded vehicles to increase brand awareness and to ensure services are delivered to clients efficiently and timeously. Our current fleet is now being upgraded and we will take delivery of the new vehicles during the next few months.

NOSA RECOGNITION PROGRAMME AND AWARDS
Each new year brings about the exciting time of planning for our annual award banquets. The NOSCAR banquet will be hosted on the 7th of May 2010, with regional award banquets in Gauteng, Cape Town and Durban during June and July. We look forward to honouring our award-winning clients for their continued efforts to reduce occupational incidents and environmental impacts.

DUE TO OVERWHELMING RESPONSE, WE HAVE LAUNCHED PHASE TWO OF THE NOSHCON 2010 EXHIBITION
NOSHCON has been moved to the first week of September (7 to 10) and we will again host you at the picturesque Champagne Sports Resort in the Drakensberg. Bookings have already surpassed last year’s numbers to date, and we are looking forward to an even more successful event this year. We are also proud to announce the launch of a brand new website – please visit www.noshcon.co.za for all the latest speaker profiles, topics, activities, events, exhibitors, list of delegates, competitions and promotions.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT FOR NOSA AUDITING
In line with offering the highest possible level of quality service, NOSA Auditing has embarked on the process of obtaining ISO 9001 certification to bring this division in line with the ISO 9001 certification achieved by our training division.

GROWTH INTERNATIONALLY
Growth opportunities not only in South Africa but internationally, are presenting themselves on a daily basis, and with the entrenchment of NOSA over the last 60 years, the solutions we provide address all cultural challenges and needs. I am also pleased to announce both past and new clients have rejoined the NOSA family from India, China and Indonesia, and we look forward to our continued growth internationally.

Secunda office is moving to new premises on the 1st of May to accommodate the expansion - new physical address: Horwood Street, Gamepark Business Centre, Secunda (telephone and fax numbers remain unchanged).
